Weekly Markets, Subbiano on Monday Km 20, Ponte a Poppi on Tuesday, Rassina on Wednesday Km 10, Bibbiena on Thursday Km 6, Chitignano on Friday Km 15, Chiusi della Verna on Saturday Km 20.  Markets take place in the mornings.

Fishing, trout fishing is the most common and it takes place near Tripoli Lake in Bibbiena (Km 12). Moreover fishing in the river Arno is allowed (Km 3)

Canoe, it is possible to go down the river Arno

National Park of Casentino, it is one of the latest protected areas of Tuscany. It was realized in 1991 in collaboration with Emilia Romagna province.

The Park extends on an area of 35.170 hectares

Inside there is a monastery “Camaldoli” and a hermitage “La Verna”. This place was S. Francesco d’Assisi’s house, where today you can visit the small cell. Inside the monastery a lot of church ceremonies and Gregorian chants take place.  All these attractive places give a big artistic contribution to the Casentino Valley.
When you get to these places you can go on a walking tour following a path through the forests and the secular woods, finding out fine foreshortenings of stainless sceneries, rivers and mountain streams which create an unreal atmosphere.
